Pre-production-It the stage where movies ideas convert into scripts and casts, crews, and production company joins. Work like Auditions and searching for shooting locations happens in pre-productions.
Production- It is the most important stage of movie-making that takes 60 to 70 percent of the total time. Shooting, dubbing, and music production are done here.
Post-Production-It is the last stage of movie-making. That includes editing, marketing, and distribution.

It is the traditional way of income source. Here the movie Theaters give royalty to the production company directly or through the distributors. And in some big projects, the distributors buy the theatrical release rights and earn royalty from the Movie Theaters.

Big music companies buy the music rights of the movie producers.
Satellite Rights
The TV channels buy the movie’s satellite rights to show the movie exclusively on their TV Channels.
Product Placements
This is the new way of advertising. For showing the products in the movie, the product companies give a lot of money to the movie producers. Prices differ with the appearance style on the screen of the products. if the actor is using the product the price will be high.
OTT Rights
OTT is the new way of entertainment on the internet. Here OTT companies show the movie on their websites and Applications. OTT companies buy the OTT rights So that they can show the movie exclusively to their subscribers. Some famous platforms’ are Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hotstar.
Nowadays movie producers are earning a lot even if the movie gets flops.
