A small decision can influence someone’s entire life. That may be an emotional or financial or Physical part of our life. And sometimes if a decision hurts an emotional attachment, it will be very difficult to survive with joy. Some months back a story was published in a local news portal in the state, of Odisha in India.

According to the news portal in the district headquarter of Sonepur of Odisha state a strange incident happens. One day A woman starts crying and stops the DM when the District Magistrate of Sonepur District reached to District Magistrate’s Office. She was urging “Please! return my cow. I can’t live without my cow. ”
When the bodyguards of the District Magistrate tried to remove the woman, she urged District Magistrate to listen to her word. When the District Magistrate had word with the old man, the actual situation was revealed.

The actual incident was like that The old woman named Taras Bagh was living in the town of Sonepur. Begging was her only source of income of her. whatever she was getting, she was sharing with her cows. In this way, she was sharing an emotional bond with her cows. And In this way, a bonding was developed between the old woman and the cows.

The local government authority of Sonepur passed an order to relocate the street cows and bulls to one well-maintained place. Because of these cows and bulls, a lot of road accidents were happening. And in these accidents, a lot of lives were lost. That’s why the local authority was forced to impose. Tarasha Bagh lived by begging on the footpath. Because of the decision of the local administration, local municipality officers took away her cows.

It caused an emotional breakdown of the woman. She urged many officers but did not get any help. At last, she came to the local district magistrate’s office. The district magistrate of the respected district reacted immediately and ordered the officer to release her cows.

First of all, we should stop comparing money with assets. The definition of an asset may differ from person to person. The real asset of life of that woman, not the cows. Her actual and only asset of her was the bond with cows. And imagine if someone takes our full asset how painful it would be. She is living because of that emotional bond, and this is the main support of her life.

The time has come that we have to respect others’ emotions. If we can respect and understand others’ emotions we can give a war-free world to our future generation.
